My Books

I’ve always believed that healing begins with understanding. Over the years, my writing has grown out of the same conversations I have in my clinic — with people who are tired, overwhelmed, or searching for a deeper sense of balance. Writing has given me a way to share these insights more widely, weaving together natural medicine, counselling, and practical tools for everyday life.

My books are written to be both clear and compassionate — whether you’re a student of health sciences wanting solid foundations, or someone simply looking for gentle guidance through fatigue, burnout, and the challenges of modern living. Each page is grounded in experience, research, and a love of making complex ideas easy to understand.

I hope these books will not only give you knowledge, but also remind you that you are not alone in your journey towards health and wholeness.

My newest book, Drowning Lifeguards, was written for anyone navigating the exhaustion of fatigue and burnout, offering gentle guidance and practical support. In contrast, my earlier textbooks in anatomy, physiology, and pathology are more technical, and are used by colleges around the world.
